The SSWA water distribution system is supplied by the Solano Project through the Cement Hill Water Treatment Plant and the system is operated and maintained by the Solano Irrigation District (SID).

SSWA Vault Lids Replacement Project

The Suisun-Solano Water Authority (Authority or SSWA) supplies potable water to the City of Suisun City, which is located in Solano County, approximately 45 miles west of Sacramento and approximately 26 services in the Suisun Valley which is located to the northwest of Suisun City in the unincorporated section of Solano County. The SSWA water distribution system is supplied by the Solano Project through the Cement Hill Water Treatment Plant and the system is operated and maintained by the Solano Irrigation District (SID). The initial scope of this project is to replace the manhole top slabs, access frames, and covers of two pressure reducing stations, and demolish the existing vaults of two metering stations, remove existing pipe sections and meters, and install new pipe spools. Possible additive bid items include the same scope of work for an additional two pressure reducing stations and one metering station.In addition to the base bid and possible additive bid items, the project scope includes pipeline disinfection and testing, trenching and backfill, as well as road restoration.
